HBDC INFORMATIVE - DECEMBER 2024
Dear Parents,
TERRY FOX RUN
Our children had a great experience on September 20 for Terry Fox Walk. We sent $150 as a donation to the foundation. Thanks for those who participated in this great cause.
CanLearn Society
They offer a free storytelling program to preschool groups called “Share the Magic. They came to our daycare once a week and for the whole month this quarter. Children loved it. They engaged children in the process.
DAYCARE HOURS NOTIFICATION:
Please inform us if childcare hours schedule changes for your child, so we can line up staff shifts accordingly.
SCHOOL PICK UP:
Please do inform us if you pick up your child from school for some reason (sickness, appointment etc.). Also make sure to inform us if your child is absent from school so, our staff is not looking for them to pick up for daycare.
CHRISTMAS PARTY:
This year Christmas celebration is scheduled for Friday December 20 for children. Santa Claus plans to be here to give gifts to all children in their classes. Pizza and Christmas cake will be provided as children celebrate.
HOLIDAY SCHEDULE:
- Tuesday December 24 close at noon for Christmas Eve
- Wed December 25 to Wed Jan 1, 2025 Christmas & New Year Day Holidays
- Full operation will resume on Thursday Jan 2, 2025.
WINTER GEAR:
Please make sure that your children have name tags on their winter gears so these do not mix up with others.
DAYCARE FEES:
Your parent portion is due on the first day of the month. A late fee of $ 25.00 will be charged after 5th of the month.
CHILD CARE SUBSIDY:
As a parent it is your responsibility to ensure your subsidy is approved. We require the full fee for your child and will adjust the balance when the subsidy is received.
This time of the year is truly magical. Christmas is a holiday with a beautiful spirit and traditions. One tradition is greeting each other with Merry Christmas wishes. So, Merry Christmas and best wishes for the New Year.
