NEW CHILDCARE FUNDING PLAN: 

You should have received a letter from the Honorable Matt Jones, Minister of Jobs, Economy and Trade, outlining changes to childcare funding. Please note the following:

a) The Child Care Subsidy program will end on March 31, 2025.

b) Starting April 1, 2025, it will be replaced by a flat and predictable monthly parent fee of $326.25 for full-time licensed childcare for all families attending daycare. This is equivalent to $15/day!

As parents, it’s important to understand and adhere to these changes to ensure your child’s continued access to childcare in Alberta.

We are pleased to share that we will NOT be adding additional charges for meals or snacks, unlike some other daycares. es are doing. 

DAYCARE FEES: 

Your portion of daycare fees is due on the first day of each month.  A $25 late fee will apply to payments made after the 5th of the month**.

DAYCARE HOURS:

If your childcare schedule changes, please inform us promptly so we can adjust staff shifts accordingly. 

SCHOOL PICK UP:

- Let us know if you pick up your child from school due to sickness, appointments, or other reasons.

- If your child will be absent from school, please notify us so staff do not search for them for daycare pick-up.

HOLIDAY CLOSURE:

The daycare will be **closed from April 18 (Good Friday) to April 21 (Easter Monday) for the holiday.

WEATHER GEAR REMINDER: 

Spring is near, but Calgary’s weather can still be chilly! Please ensure your child has a jacket with a **name tag** to avoid mix-ups, especially during outdoor walks.
